- I have worked in the senior housing and elder care industry since the late 1980s. The options and services available to families and their elder loved ones have changed a lot (thank goodness). I started the concept of my Internet business, Elder Options of Texas, back in 1999 with an official launch date of January 2001. I enjoy knowing I'm helping families (through my Web site)learn about,and locate, the services they need while at the same time becoming more knowledgeable about aging issues along the way. I'm addicted to the Internet and its growth. It's amazing!
